On Monday, October 19th a wildfire started at the Ice Lakes Trailhead on United States Forest Service Land.
The Town of Ophir wants you to be fully informed and aware of the wildfire in South Mineral Creek, the Ice Fire. Silverton is currently under Level 1: Ready! Evacuations. The Town of Ophir will be getting more information in regards to this incident and will send out a more detailed email tomorrow. In the meantime, please stay tuned and informed as this fire is in our backyard.
